REDEEMED

The blood signifies redemption. Ephesians 1:7 says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood.” The emphasis in redemption is not being saved, but being redeemed. After we sinned, we needed to pay the price of the requirement of God’s law in order to be freed from the law. We were bound by the law. However, the Lord Jesus shed His blood on the cross, His blood is the only thing that can satisfy the requirement of the law, He paid that price for us.

The price of redemption is the precious blood of the Lord Jesus. Because the blood had been sprinkled upon us, we were redeemed and freed from the law unto God. Praise the Lord!
