Conin"XI"dence or Throne in the wind ? The Xi Dynasty on the way !
Have been thinking about what to write for my first post. Crypto sounds popular but I don't do mainstream, and I am still gathering ideas / data for my travel journal. And then I thought of a topic that sounds interesting and also wanted to record this, thanks to the blockchain technology of Steemit ! (Yay) You cannot post this topic in any Chinese media (Weibo,QQ,Weixin,Baidu) nor you could search the following keywords : "Winnie the Pooh" (Of Coz) " Xi + Emperor" "Immigration" "Constitution Reform" "Re-appointment" "Re-election". Everything that related to the Xi becoming the Chinese Emperor again since 1911 was banned or censored. They even banned the searching of "Yuan shikai" as he was the "83 day Emperor" who act exactly like the Xi today.
After the hundred-days reform in 1898, which coincidentally was 120 years ago ( 2 heaven's cycle ; Jiazi; 甲子 ; One full cycle = 60 years ; Completing a full cycle was worth celebrating in the past) , Yuan gained significant importance in the government which could not held his ambition. His ultimate goal is the Revival of monarchy. The new Empire of China was to formally begin on 1 January 1916, when Yuan, the Hongxian Emperor, intended to conduct the accession rites. Soon after becoming emperor, the Hongxian Emperor placed an order with the former imperial potters for a 40,000-piece porcelain set costing 1.4 million yuan, a large jade seal, and two imperial robes costing 400,000 yuan each. The empire only last for 83 days as Yuan faced heavy resistance from Sun Yat sen and and army lead by Cai E.
When I was writing this article, Xi already be re-elected as President and China’s first leader to swear an oath to the constitution. Soon, the Russian supreme leader Putin will be re-elected too. As China and Russia fortify their empire once again, it is noteworthy that how the 100 days reform 120 years ago would give us hint on the coming political environment.
