So, this video was one of my favorite to make. The execution I think fell short of what I wanted. But, overall the video is still good IMO. Virtually all of my videos are shot inside the house. But, it was so nice outside that I really wanted some of that pretty green backgournd in my video. The problem with outside is background noise. I have niether the technical skill to edit it out nor the equipment necessary to successfully record without the background noise. So, you hear wind and kids yelling in the background. All that being said, I am still happy over all with the outcome. Even if it was perfect.

Now, the standards I searched for when choosing these vehicles was based mainly on MPG and price. So, why did I pick the Ionic over the Prius you might ask? Simply because the Ionic gets about 10 more MPG than the Prius. Largely car preferences are just that. So, much of this list is subjective. I get that. But, any of these cars will really help you earn more because it keeps the per mile cost down when driving.

Now, I will say this here (as I do in the actual video): never buy a car FOR rideshare. That is the worst business investment you can make. Buying a car to do rideshare in is the business equivalent of Donald Trump buying a casino. It will only end in disaster.

That being said, you (probably) are going to need a vehicle for your everyday life. So, buy a car that fits into your lifestyle. Just know that while you are car shopping that you want to use this vehicle to drive customers too. For example, do you have kids? How many? Pets like dogs? If you have 2 or 3 kids and a couple of dogs, then an SUV might fit your lifestyle. Maybe a van or minivan. In that case, purchase an SUV or van that will also work for rideshare.

The flip side of that is that if you are single with no family, then maybe a smaller more gas efficient vehicle is your style. Or you are single and want to impress a date. So, get a more impressive car. Just keep rideshare criteria in the back of your mind as while you are car shopping.
