It is important to understand why poverty is so concentrated in the same continent. For this, we will analyze some of the causes of this phenomenon.

In Africa, conflicts are constantly occurring. In fact, there are currently 25 wars and armed conflicts in all areas of this broad continent. These are problems that are occurring and that hardly appear in the Western media, so that very few people know what is really happening in those territories.

Conflicts are aggravated by their own circumstances, since they are wars that never end or reignite. Therefore, periods of calm are practically impossible.

Under these conditions, the numerous resources possessed by their paradoxically rich lands are running out: the population is left without food, without homes and, of course, without covering the basic needs that seem essential in rich countries. The prices of all goods and services are enormously expensive because of their scarcity, and this means that most people can not access these products.

All this forms a perfect breeding ground for millions of people to be forced to flee their homes, seeing how their dreams of a future there are left behind, along with everything they had achieved.

The weather and natural conditions do not help the African population either. The temperatures are extreme, it is only necessary to see that in the continent there are nine deserts, two of them, of the largest in the planet: the Sahara and the Kalahari. Likewise, torrential rains are common and are contrasted with droughts, factors that further deplete natural resources. The severe climatological impacts, which are also aggravated by the consequences of climate change, mean that for most countries they can not cope with these disasters. Their management capacity and their preconditions to the possible impacts generate more fatalities and greater difficulty in getting ahead.
