I'd Rather Have a Few Votes than 48 Votes that just Drain What Little Income I Receive
It doesn't happen too often, but when it does I get irritated.
No, it's not just the drain on the $1.68 that I earned from a well thought out post. It's just the fact that someone is spamming me with votes from a country that I cannot read what little they have written. 3 to 5 posts, no comments, and low rating. I muted a few but that probably won't do much since I wasn't following them anyway.
I am not sure what the spam voters think they are doing but it isn't good for my moral. I will get over it.

Sorry Cat, I'm sure that it is frustrating. I'm to new to have felt that myself but I'm sure I will be in the same situation soon. I'm waiting a few days to start my introduction post to get a feel for Steemit. I hope your day gets a little better. -Jason AKA Whirldly
Thanks @whirldly! Luckily it doesn't happen that often, although I didn't post for around 2 weeks last month due to busy-ness, so maybe this is the new normal.
I am not on Steemit to get rich (thank goodness). It's just that it sucks when I get 48 Upvotes and it is just a drain on my meager income. When I click on who actually voted for me it is a bunch of accounts that are a year old but have only posted 3 times and have very little if no interaction with others.
I am still pretty new here myself. There are lots of great people with amazing posts, I just get tired of posts that essentially are cut-and-paste from another source.
