A PAIN FREE & FLEXIBLE BODY ~
As the mind becomes stiff and rigid by holding onto certain positionalities, opinions and beliefs, the body tends to follow suit and become increasingly stiff and rigid.
Therefore body pain and stiffness is rarely a purely physical phenomenon but a sign that the mind and emotions have become locked up into rigid ways of seeing and thinking. In other words, stagnation and resistance.
Have a think about the people you know in your life who have a very rigid and stubborn way of thinking - are these peoples body's stiff and rigid?
What about those people in your life who tend to be more open-minded and adaptable to change - are their body's more open, pain-free and flexible?
It's important to push the edges of your personality on a regular basis because if you do, you will not only have less body pain and stiffness, you will be able to enjoy your life in a more fun, free-flowing and curious way.
Tips on HOW ~
Laugh more.
Practice laughing for longer, deeper and sometimes for no reason. Practice laughing even when no one is around.Sing more.
Practice singing increasingly loudly, wildly and with reckless abandon. See how much fun can you have doing this!Dance more.
Practice dancing in new, wonderful and weird ways even if you don't like the music - dance anyway. (Finding new shapes with your body literally helps your brain create new neural pathways and new ways of thinking)Throw out your "personality type"
Continuously throw out the notion that you are a particular type of personality, governed by things like star signs or psychology tests. Know that it is possible to completely change your personality, your internal biochemistry, your neurology and genetics in a period of just a few weeks...
