How to build an igloo

Ingredients:

  • primarily a lot of snow.
  • shovel.
  • boxes.
  • shovel.
  • waterproof gloves.
  • resistance to cold.
  • good mood.

1. Fill the boxes with snow. Snow tamp well.

2. When blocks will be enough to start construction, Put the first row of the circle. Next row displace toward the center, etc.

3. The main thing is not to forget the inlet.

4. The hardest thing - do dome. Need help friends.

5. We did it!

6. The view from inside.

7. The hole for the smoke from the fire.

8. Entrance Arch.

9. Frost and snow made igloo even stronger.

Cool igloo, too bad we have no snow in dalmatia i'd love to build my oven.

That looks like it was cold, dry snow. That would be a lot easier to work with than the wet "Cascade cement" that we get here on the west side of Oregon! Enjoy your igloo! :D
