Peace and all good...

Christmas is fast approaching, a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, a time of great rejoicing because our Savior is born. Like many of us I am also busy buying and preparing our house for this coming celebration even in a simple way. This is always the scenario every time Christmas comes. Yes, we need to prepare for the coming of the Messiah but not more on decorations but on ourselves ,on our relationships with the Lord and our neighbor , a time to pray and for penance which are far more important than anything else that is why we still have to go through Advent , a four weeks of preparation for us to be worthy to welcome Jesus again in our life. The Church teaches us that during this Advent season we commemorates the birth of Jesus 2000 years ago, the coming of Jesus to us through the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist and the second coming of Jesus which no one knows except God the Father Himself. In this especial occasions we have to be mindful on our life , how we live it if our words, actions pleasing to God. This a time to reevaluate ourselves, are we ready when Jesus comes, Am I prepared to welcome my Savior, Jesus told us to be always vigilant because the Son of man will come like a thief in the night that is why we have to prepare ourselves to be ready when our comes. We do this because we love much, like Jesus who loves us too much by becoming man like us except sin.

Do we have the same love towards our neighbor?

Our acts of mercy and compassion towards our brothers and sisters are the concrete manifestation of our love for God as St. John said in one of his letter "if you said you love God but hate your neighbor you are a lier. How can you love God whom you do not see when you don't love your neighbor whom you see". This is my anchor in this season of Christmas, even how little I have i will try to share it to others.
