The holy anointing oil in the book of exodus was made from Cannabis
In the original Hebrew version of the recipe in Exodus (30:22-23) it contained over six pounds of Kaneh-bosem. This is identified by etymologists, linguists, anthropologists, botanists and others as cannabis.
This was extracted into around six quarts of olive oil with other fragrant herbs. The anointed ones were literally drenched in this potent substance

Many believe that the recipe for the anointing oil passed from god to moses contained cannabis. Many claim the word for cannabis was mistakenly changed to a plant called calamus in the King James version of the Bible
