Believe

We all know right from wrong, good from evil, and true from false. Sadly, I too know what it is like to make the wrong choice.

We do what is not good or we say what is not true -- but why? For what end?

Fear

Wasn't this supposed to be positive?

Well, yeah, I am getting to the positive part 👍🏻

So, fear, I believe, might be what is causing us to take the wrong path and often to do the wrong thing.

What do we do?

That will differ for each of us. My new way of being includes God and prayer.

For you, it could be something else. I'm just trying to suggest we work on mechanisms to deal better with fear, so as to eventually be able to eradicate fear.

Why are we afraid?

Death, probably. We fear we won't have enough, or that we'll die alone, poor and with nobody caring. So what? Even if that did happen... you're dead! How would you feel any different if you were dead and famous or dead and rich?

There's really no point to fear.

Hope

Yes, hope. We're all human so we're going to mess up. We're going to make mistakes. We're going to do the wrong thing when we already knew what the right thing was to do. But we don't have to let ourselves be a worse version of ourselves than we need be. Right?

Let's be honest, we all have dreams. We all want better for ourselves, but what is the best way to get to the promised land?

Pause, Quiet, Reflection.

Who are you?

What do you want out of life?

What are you willing to give?

Who can you help?

Which prior wrong of your's can you right today?

These are the questions I'm dealing with today. Sometimes growing hurts and can be scary. But growing is healthy. Our other option aside from growing isn't a very good one.
