ACTUALIZING ONE'S DREAM

Dreams are creative imaginations or visions, like that thing you think about persistently, that you wish could happen instantly or something you want to become. Breaking it further, dreams are self motivated aspirations, it is something notable of its beauty and excellence. Take for instance, it is safe to say that, it is the dream of 80% of Nigerians to have a beautiful family in the future, especially mine....
Dreams are driving forces to greatness and dreaming big isn't a problem at all. Dreaming big is a wonderful thing and actualizing that big dream can only be achieved in the following strategical ways;

Taking Actions:

This point actually sums up the ways in which dreams can be actualized. In order to make your dreams come through, there's this important 6 lettered word that can enable that"ACTION ". There's this saying that action speaks louder than voice. You don't just expect to wake up one morning to see a fully accomplished dream, NO!!, it doesn't work that way. Taking actions is like the pathway that leads to the " gold mine ".

Planning:

So many of you who have read my write up on planning would actually know what am talking about as regards planning. In case you've not read or come across it, kindly go to( attach where they can read on planning) and see the advantages of planning and remember " he who fails to plan, plans to fail".

Connecting with the right people:

Let me start this point by saying, you don't expect an eagle to know its full potentials when it is dining with chickens. In order to achieve your dream, it is important you connect with the right people, connect with people who see potentials in you, connect with people that can lead you aright, connect with people that can lead you to the peak, people that can mentor and shape you/give you insight to the unknown.

Humility:

Even scriptures says "humble yourself and you shall be exalted". Achieving your dreams can only come easy when you're humble. Don't show-off off that you know it all, a little amount of humility magnets great minds.

Self Motivation:

If nobody believes in you, believe in yourself. Say the words, " I'm strong, I'm talented, I'm beautiful, I'm fearless.. There's nothing like self motivation, no matter how grey things may look, self motivation goes a long way especially in a depressed state.

Determination:

How determined are you to actualize that dream? Do you just give up when things have taken a wrong turn? Do you say to yourself "I can't continue"?, Do you easily get discouraged when people's comment are full of hate and disbelief?, once again I ask, how determined are you? Because for you to achieve that beautiful dream you need to push through all these. Determination is all you need to get the keys to unlock greatness.

Avoid Procrastination:

There's this nursery rhyme that says "tick says the clock tick tick, what you have to do, do quick". Procrastination has murdered so many great dreams, what you can do today, why delay? Learn from that nursery rhyme and achieve your goals.

Positive Vibe:

Surround yourself with people that emit positivity. If you're always around self-centered people, people that complain a lot, people who don't key into your dream, people who drain you intellectually, people who don't see anything good around or in what you do, then its time to change your circle and do away with such persons. They may seem nice, cool, friendly and all of that but know that sometimes good things are not always right things.

Taking Risk:

This implies moving from your comfort zone. So many persons are scared of moving from their comfort zones, taking risk isn't a problem, it is how we react and perceive things that matters. Take the risk to explore your opportunities.

Ability to rise after a fall:

The story of the cartoon " lion's king" is a clear example of this. We've heard stories of so many great minds that didn't get it right the first time but persisted and achieved their dreams. Don't get discouraged simply because the first, second or third was a disaster, get up because you know the greatness ahead, get up because those several failed trials cannot be in vain, rise up because it is your right to have the glorious laughter.

Above all, put God first in all that you do, because one with God is majority and only with HIM will you be able to do exploits .
