Monday on Taipei city
Monday is probably the worst time to travel to Taiwan, and what is the reason?
Is it Monday Blue that people will not be friend to you?
No
So why is it?
The reason is that people usually choose to rest during Monday and so that you will see many shops you want to close this day. They try to avoid to close on the weekend like the other countries because they know people will need them more on the weekend and therefore, Monday is like a Sunday to them in Taiwan.
So remember, next time you come to Taiwan, don't feel surprising to see some of the shops close on Monday.
Manic mondays
Monday bring the sadness to me, because Monday is the first working day of week. There is no "weekday public holiday" on the coming 5 months in Hong Kong. Hard to go.
