Why is there no charity thread for upvotes to help hurricane victims?
Seems like a pretty simple way to raise money with the click of a button to help those that just lost everything.
I would do this but unfortunately no one would see it and to be honest, I think @ned @teamsteem or any top witness or whale that is trusted by the community should reach out to an org like the red cross and/or just make an account for them.
The worst that could happen: someone is a greedy jackass and walks with the money and you lost a tiny bit of voting power.
The best that could happen: you could bring relief to many, save a life or possibly multiple.
is there a universal whale call or something to make this happen?
(apologies if this already happened and I missed the thread)
Edit: I am not looking to profit off this. If you could get trending for resteeming only then i would ask for only resteems. I don't know how to cancel out the dollar amount or whatever at the end of 7 days but i have no problem doing so to get it trending so someone with influence see's it and runs with it
