RE: Chocolate Strawberry Collagen Protein Smoothie (Original Recipe and Photos) | Thinking about quitting coffee and tea...what do you guys think?

HI. Great article. I wanted to let you know what I've come to learn about coffee since you asked and because I, too, gave it up once for a little while. Organic, freely-traded whole coffee beans that you freshly grind are actually healthy for you. Coffee made with such beans lowers your risk of such diseases as Parkinson's, certain cancers -like colon-, and type two diabetes. Disease reduction comes from coffee not sweetened with refined white sugar, artificial sweeteners and chemical flavorings, obviously. Depending on the individual, coffee can be a mood elevator because of the caffeine. It can also improve mental performance. This is not the case with processed caffeine found in soda, energy drinks and the likes. So is a Starbuck's coffee good for you? Probably not. Is a cup of coffee made from freshly ground, organic and fairly-trade beans good for you? Probably yes, especially if you enjoy a cup or two of coffee in the morning. I learned all of this from a shaman named Don Tolman and David Wolf. Also, I listened to my body and coffee made with fresh, organic, fairly-traded coffee beans leaves me feeling great. No jitters or crash. Again, thank you for your post.
