in #life7 years ago

Zakir Hossain said the story of the survival of Abdul Majid of Rajshahi. To say this tears became the eyes of these young researchers. Stopped the conversation and said, 'How many times did I cry during an interview. It has also been done, perhaps because of the brutality, I could not do any work all day. '

He again went back to Abdul Majid's story of listening. April 14, 1971 The young Majid was going to the relatives house. With his clan The Pakistani army captured them in suspicion of the information collectors of the freedom fighters. Rampant torture camps There was a house in a house. There were also a few more victims earlier. Then everyone is asked to lie down. Shoots to ensure death of everyone. But luckily survived on that day from the death of Abdul Majid. On the right side of his chest goes out of the back with a fire. He understood that after getting the definition back. Day Two was lying dead. The body becomes uninterrupted by bleeding and starvation. There was no movement to move. Stand up and lift your eyes to see the door open. In the family of relatives who took shelter in a lot of trouble and took shelter. Then many more stories .... Abdul Majid, who is yet to be wounded by the tragedy of this incident,

The story of Abdul Majid will be in this story of village Ekattor's name. Editing Liberation War researcher and BRAC University teacher Afsan Chowdhury. He has long been researching the liberation war of the marginalized people. The book has already published this issue. In that continuity, the village is now working in Ekattor.

On December 1, we started talking about the story of the book. Zakir Hossain and Fouzia Afroz were sitting beside him. Two young Liberation War researchers from village Ekatore There are so many real stories like Abdul Majid, who are going to Matlabandi in the book. Quoting individual people, he told them about his experience. In those stories, the barbarism of the Pakistani occupation forces on the Bengalis, the heroism of the fearless warrior, the role of the Razakars, the life of the people of the village of poor days and their studies of various aspects of life. When you hear the story, it becomes as moist as you hear it, and your heart swells with a heroic story.

Afsan Chowdhury said, 'Our history is upstream, the history of people of power. The marginalized population does not come very much in history. So we do not know, I do not want to know. For decades I have been working on the history of the marginalized people. This book is how ordinary people spent their days in the village at the village level, got hurt, got sorrow, and got pleasure.

Afsan Chowdhury handled this book in 2012. Surveys, data collection, case studies - many young people have worked on different occasions. Now there are Fouzia Afroz and Zakir Hossain.

During the War of Liberation, survey was done in areas where attacks and casualties were relatively high. The answer to certain questions is to find people in those areas. About 1000 interviews were conducted in the survey. The question was about the age of the war, the economic condition, the income resources, the social status, the political position, the festive experience, his daily life and his various survival issues.

Based on these information, book work will continue. But standing in the finance crisis has stopped. The closest friends have started again with the cooperation. Afsan Chowdhury said, "People's experiences have been divided into 25 topics. These include things like living in the village, judicial arbitrations, religious and social festivals, burial, study, and medical issues. Approximately 80,000 words were brought from almost half a million words. Now is the final edit work. '

In addition to this book, he is also working on two books of Hindus' Ekattern and women's 71.

Liberation of the two youths

2014 is the word. Fauzia Afroz then used to study in BRAC University law department. He said, 'Our teacher of a course was Sir (Afsan Chowdhury). One day in the class he announced that if he gets the highest number of exams, he will give him a chance to study.

Fauzia Afroz got the opportunity to study the highest number. Starting with the work, he knew of the liberation war so much that he fought for arms and arms in politics and war, but there are many other things to do with it. Many people have a part in it, the impact of this is also in the life of a common man in the village. Faujia said, 'Then my eyes were opened. Many questions seem awake Some day I did not want to hear about my war day with my grandfather. Then he heard the story of his experience. He had to be forgotten to listen to him. "Fouzia is now studying in the postgraduate category of Department of Criminology at Dhaka University. In the beginning of the work of village Ekatore's book, he has done reviewing the survey, sharing how much experience can be shared.

Zakir Hossain has been involved in this work in 2015. He then used to study in the Department of Philosophy at Rajshahi University. Identity with Afsan Chowdhury through his teacher. As a collector and researcher, he visited several other villages, including Jugisho, Palsa, Belgharia and Durgapur upazila of Rajshahi. I've heard the life story of many people. At the end of 2016, the university jute stole the jute from Dhaka. Then join the editing work.

In the story of two young people, in chat, only in the context of liberation war. On that day also, the whole of the talk was full of liberation war, life of the end, heroism and misery of the oppressed. The job is emotional, respect to them. Both are waiting to see stories of ordinary people in printed letters. We also have to wait for the Ekattra Book of the village with them and a few more month.
