What Adages and Principles Do You Want to Follow in Your Life?

in #life3 years ago

What adages and principles do you want to follow in your life? If you are like most people, the answer is probably not a whole lot. Most people have blind spots in their lives that they don't even realize is there. The truth is that all of us have these things in us that we would like to be a part of but for some reason are trapped in situations that prevent us from getting to those places. You might ask what adages and principles are so that you can let go of that which is holding you back from living the best life possible.

The first of your ten adages or principles is: Enjoy what you are doing at the present time. In other words, stop trying to find the meaning of the past and the future and instead focus on what you have at the moment. This may sound easier said than done but it is actually easier than done. If you stop trying to compare what you have right now to what you would like to have, you will soon find that the best life experience happens when you are enjoying what you are doing at the present time. When you stop comparing what you have at the present to what you would like to have, you also stop living in fantasy land and you begin to live in reality.

The second of your ten adages or laws is: Use what you know to help others. If you do not use what you know to help others, then you will always feel as though you are missing out. When you help others using what you already know, you are sure to help yourself as well because you will no longer feel that you are missing out on something if you do not do it.

The third of your ten laws is: To make yourself do your best every day. This means that you should do all that you can to let go of any negative feelings or beliefs that might be hanging over you. If you let go of those things that you think are holding you back from living an ideal life, you will be amazed at how much more you can do in a given day. By letting go of old beliefs or thoughts, you will open yourself up to new opportunities as well. This is why it is important to take your problems seriously but to also try to live every day to its fullest.

The fourth of your ten commandments is: Always be willing to learn. People constantly try to convince you that you need to do one thing and do it perfectly and this can often lead you down the wrong path. However, it is very important that you do not forget that you are creating your ideal life every single day. If you do not learn as much as you could, you will never discover what your true potential is and you will always remain in a place where you feel you are not making the most of your talents.

The fifth adage you should follow is: Give. Nothing will make you happy and successful if you do not give back something good. When you give, do not expect for a return. This adage says that you should not expect anything in return for what you have done; however, you should also not shut yourself off from the world and the opportunities that every moment brings.

The sixth commandment, you should follow is: Do not wait for the world to change for you. Your ideal life is not going to happen overnight. Do not wait for some other person to fall in love with you before you develop yourself first. This adage is saying that you should not be content with your own personal development and instead, you should wait for your own ideals to come into play so that you will have something to strive for and fight for. The phrase "work for a living" is another ideal, you should follow because this says that you should put something in your life and work for it. Whether it is in your career or in your passion, do not think that you can live your ideal life without working for it because you will always end up finding something better.

So if you want to know what adages and principles do you want to follow in your life, remember to always look for the good in people. Be kind when you are being harsh with people because this is what keeps people honest. Think about the adage "the proof of the pudding is in the tasting." This adage is saying that if you will take the time to find the goodness in other people, you will no longer crave for bad experiences in life.
