How To Build Confidence - Picture Yourself In Your Mind!

Do you want to build confidence? You must first understand that it is not a one-time-attention-grabber. It is something that needs constant support to keep it growing. So where do you start? It begins with taking a look at the true image of yourself.


Is the picture of yourself that you see in your mind's eye a picture of yourself that you want to become? Is it a vision that you hold in your mind's eye? Can you feel it when you look at that picture? Is it a picture of yourself at your best? Does it inspire you to achieve greatness?

No. Your confidence is not something that can be built by seeing a picture of yourself in your mind's eye. It is something that you have to discover for yourself. It is built by living your life to the fullest. It is built by letting go of things that hurt you inside and out, and by loving who you are on a whole new level.

To build confidence, the first step is to rid yourself of negative thinking. Once you have rid yourself of negative thinking, replace it with positive thoughts. This sounds easier said than done, but it is very easy. For example, if you are worried that you will not make it as an artist, tell yourself that you will. Tell yourself over again how good you are, and how talented you are, until you cannot help but believe it. If you are a salesperson, tell yourself over how wonderful it feels to make lots of money, until you have no problem doing it.

The next step to build confidence is to find a picture of yourself in your mind's eye that does not involve you speaking negatively. This can be anything. A simple picture of yourself dancing in the rain. A simple picture of you stretching your face forward so that others can see your smile. You do not need to actually see the picture to build confidence, just imagining it will do.

The third step is to copy the way you look at yourself. Look at yourself in the mirror. Pretend that you are looking at yourself in the mirror. What would you like about yourself? What would you like to change about yourself? How would you like your picture to look?

These steps are the easiest ways to build confidence in yourself. There is no need for you to put in too much effort at this point. Once you start to feel better about yourself, then you can start putting in more effort. It will require you to think differently, to re-evaluate things, and to alter your habits.

This is an easy process. You can easily do it. However, it is not something that will happen overnight. It takes work and patience to build confidence in yourself. If you are willing to put in the effort, and if you are patient, then you can become a confident person.

Now that you have your picture of yourself, you need to be able to build confidence from that picture. You need to picture yourself as how you want to act. For example, if you want to dress in your best outfit for a night out on the town, picture yourself wearing that outfit to that particular night. Imagine that perfect picture of yourself having that great time with your friends. When you do this with all your pictures, you will have the strong desire to get out there and do what you want.

When you are able to see yourself in your pictures, you will want to do the same thing in real life. That perfect picture of yourself, that fantastic night out with your friends, that perfect job interview, and that amazing resume. All these things can be improved by the way you picture yourself. You will have more confidence when you are seen in these situations. Your picture of yourself will have the positive effect on your brain, which will then affect your behavior.

This is how it works, and I can personally attest to this theory. As a matter of fact, I can prove this to you. I have a friend who applied for a job once. She had a great resume and a great looking picture. But, she was rejected because of something that she thought prevented her from being successful.


Here's the proof. If you go out there and you take the time to create a picture of yourself that is the image of success, you are going to be more confident than the rejected person. To do this, all you have to do is take 10 minutes, write down the things that you are most self-conscious about and write down your solution to those problems. After doing this for a few days, you will start to build confidence because you will actually have a solution for any problem you might come up against.
