Have you ever done something that you don't really want to do because you have a difficult time saying NO to people? I know I have and I think that most of us probably have! It's good to be able to help people. Be a blessing and be someone who is there when people need you but there is a difference between being helpful and being a pushover.

In a radio interview I heard many years ago ( unfortunately I have no idea who was being interviwed) but the topic of saying no was being discussed, and one comments really stuck out to me! The reply to the questions about saying no wes summed up like this! The thing that we are presented and options and tasks that are before us, we should either say "NO" or "HELL YES"

There should be an excitement to the things that we want to do, that's how we should know that they are worth wild doing! I always try to add an element of excitement to new options by either saying NO to things I don't really want to do or HELL YEAH if it's something that I really do want!

The options before us will never always be NO or HELL YEAH options, sometimes we will have to do thins we don't want! but I just want to encourage you to practice saying NO. It's not healthy to say yes to everything. People will take advantage of you and you will eventually burn out!

You are far better off saying Yes to the things that are really important to you and NO to things that you don't want, are not healthy, will stress you out!

Remember your reply should either be NO or HELL YEAH!!!!
