Respect others' opinion, It doesn't mean if you are right, then they are already wrong
Respect what other people's beliefs and they will respect your's
A wild fire might be started and taunted, when there are two different opinions or beliefs have been clashed together, when there are some misunderstanding or misinterpretation on each side and no one wants to see the other side. They will try to overcome and overthrown each others faith, where the higher ego will try to prevail. No pride will going to concede, so they will try to find a way to destroy each other. As long as what they believe, isn't harming you, then you should leave them. Everyone of us has a pride and it isn't easy to make a public apology, but if you want to free your mind, then I think you should make it, no matter what.
If you are surely aware that their beliefs might harm someone, even themselves, then try to make a good approach and try to persuade them, try to give them some calm explanations and hold the position they do if possible. If it doesn't work, then it's time to give up for now, then try it again some other time.
It doesn't mean if you are right, then they are already wrong, maybe there are some other factors that they are trying to consider. We just need to respect the opinion of other people, so they will respect ours too. Try to weigh their arguments and try to look for their evidence. Learn something from each of it, who have a merit, then try to consolidate it with your understanding and beliefs.
