Early bird gets the worm - Early worm gets eaten!!

Though I was a very early worm today, I did not get eaten. Saw lovely birds instead...

Shaking off my Monday blues, I hurriedly dressed and rushed out to catch up with my buddies for an early outing. Here is the result...

Really liked the cormorants and the one of the painted storks flying. The contrasting colours of the birds against the sky and the countours of their body and open wings, make them appear so much more free and magnificent.

The storks are very different from our storks. Ours are white and black on their wings, with red bill.

We have lots of interesting birds visiting us too. The honeyeaters, blue wrens and finches love to hang out in our front yard around the Oyster Bay Pine tree and there has been a butcher bird that has been coming every morning these days in search of the moths that are stuck to our front door.

Even my laptop can't resist full Moon:) When I asked Cartana what she's doing she replied that she's watching out for werewolfs, ha-ha:)
