Are we losing our Individuality ?
With the advancement of technology , accessing and spreading of Information has become an easy task. We are swimming in the ocean of information. Its just a click away and you're bombarded with all kinds of information.
How do you filter out those and most importantly , is it effecting you?
Whatever we read or watch has some subtle effect on your personality. It shapes your thoughts and in some ways it changes your ability to think.
Whatever the medium let it be , whether its TV or a site on internet. We rely on some source for the info.
Now how do we consume that it totally depends on the ability to think.
When we see some source(news or a act) which is getting popular and everyone is doing it, then most of us the ability to do the same. Because everyone is doing it. When we do that, When we conform without giving a thought or thinking on that matter that's when we lose our Individuality
Individuality is the quality or a character of a person that distinguishes them from others.
Individuality requires critical thinking, and daring to have an opinion of own against the popular ones. It may be not always will be right but much better than being a sheep.
What happens when we lose our Individuality
- Loss of Self worth
When we lose our Individuality , we blindly start to follow the others. More than our self we start to give to value for others.
Their opinion or judgement holds more value then faith in self - Purposelessness
So lost in other misguided ways, who doesnt know themself well. We all will be lost and empty inside - Become a Puppet of others
It's so easy to predict a mob mentality and control them with the flow of information.
The authorities wants obedient followers
What happens when you have your own Individuality
Contribution to the Society
It's always been the Individuals, those who are not limited by the belief given by others , who dared to think different or act have contributed towards the society.Immune to the people opinion
Being an Individual who thinks for himself and knows himself better, then that person will be immune to the people opinionsDignity
There will be sense of respect for self for following your own voice.

I believe, there is no individuality left anymore, its just become a herd and everyone chasing n following each other without any significant reason or purpose!
