Nowadays people are paying a lot of attention to Time Management and are using it to achieve success. That's because everyone knows that every person in the world has 24 hours time. Nobody gets neither 1 second more nor gets 1 second less.

But even after using time management very few people get success. Why does this happen? When I had a deep study on this question, then the answer was understood in such a way-

In fact, we all understand that the same people can get success, who can work more and more in these 24 hours. That means, the more time a person works in 24 hours, the better results will be. But our thinking is absolutely wrong because more work is never means more results than doing more time.

So what should we do to get the best results now?

What is 80-20 Rule Of Time Management :-

For the solution of this problem, today I will tell you about the 80/20 rule of time , which is also called Pareto Principle because of a person named Wilfredo Pareto who had given this principle.

This is a very simple rule and it can be easily understood by any person. 80/20 Rule can be understood in this way:

According to this rule, 80% of the work done by us in any one day gives us 20% good results and on the contrary, with 20% of our work, we get 80% good results. That means we continue to do some work throughout the day, but we do not get 100% results from all 100% Actions done all day, but according to this rule our 80% Actions gives us 20% results and 20% of the remaining actions give us 80% results. This Rule of 80-20 tells us that doing more work does not give us much results, but we have got very good results from some of the tasks done by us throughout the day, and on the contrary, we have done many such tasks throughout the day. Which leads to very good results.

Pareto's Success Formula is as follows:
More Actions ≠ More Results
80% Actions = 20% Results
20% Actions = 80% Results

Does this Pareto Principle applies in Real Life?

Friends! This Pareto principle of Time Management works in all the fields of life. It works all the time in every place in the world. Now you see some examples of this -

1- 80% of the world's wealth is only with 20% people, while 20% of wealth has 80% people.

2- You wear 20% of your clothes for up to 80% of the time while 80% of the clothes you wear for 20% of the time.

3- 20% of any store's products are sold 80% times while 80% of products are sold only 20% of the time.

4- For 20% of all the contacts you have in your mobile, you call 80% whereas for 80% of contacts you call 20%.

5- Your 20% friend or relationship gives you 80% happiness, while 80% of friends or relatives give you 20% happiness.

You see this rule in any area of your life, it works normally everywhere.

How to use the 80-20 Rule?

Now the question is how can you use this 80-20 rule? Let me tell you a very good way.

First of all, you have to prepare a list of what you do and do during the day. Make this list you have 7 days. After doing so, you will be surprised when you look at this list. You will find that 80% of your work is giving you only 20% good results.

Now you have to reduce these 80% of your work by daily life and you have to increase by 20% of the work that you are getting 80% good results. That is, the work that you are wasting your time should be left to them, and the work that is making your time useful, such tasks should be done more and more throughout the day. So take a diary and pen from today and start preparing the list.

One Example Of 80-20 Rule:

Let me explain the Pareto 80-20 Rule with an example for you.

Both Rahul and Mayank were preparing for an exam. Rahul used to study for 15 hours a day while Mayank studied only 6 hours a day.Everyone used to say that Rahul will come with very good marks in this examination, maybe he will top in the exams and people used to say about Mayank that he reads less than Rahul, so that would not bring such good marks.

But when the result came, Mayank achieved 96% marks in the examination whereas Rahul's marks were 74%. Everyone was amazed about this result. People were wondering what happened that Rahul, who studied 15 hours, received only 74% marks, but mayank who studied only 6 hours got 96% marks?

Nobody had an answer and people were telling Rahul's luck was bad, but the truth was something else.

The truth was that Mayank knew very well about Pareto's 80/20 rule and using it very well, he had been able to bring so many good marks from a 6-hour study while Rahul was totally unknown to 80-20 rule of time management.

Now I will tell you how Mayank used the 80-20 rule.

By using this rule Mayank divided his study questions into two parts. In the first part, 20% kept those questions which were very important. To find out, he got a lot of help from his teachers and more questions from last years. And in the second part, he kept less important questions. Now in 6 hours of his study, he remembered the answers to the questions of 5 hours first part and he remembered the answer to the question of the second part of 1 hour. And while the rest of the time was left, he used to do household chores, sports and other things, while Rahul was also studying at that time.

Where to use 80-20 Rule of Pareto?

Friends! Similarly in any field of life you can use this 80-20 rule. Let us know in which field of life you can use this 80/20 rule and get success in that field-

1- If you are a businessman then use this 80-20 rule to do your business well. Do more of those tasks that lead your business to the heights of success.

2- If you are a student then use this 80-20 rule to improve your study. Give more attention to the topics that can give you good results.

3- Use this 80-20 rule to make your relationship good and give more time on the relation which gives happiness to you or those who give you with your grief.

4- To improve your routine, you should use the 80-20 rule. Give more time to those tasks that give you good results.

5- To make your social life good, use 80-20 rule. Stay in touch with your friends and other people who make you happy or at times who help you.

Keep in mind 80/20 principle does not tell you that you start doing less work, but this rule tells us that we should not do those works where 80% of our time is waste. We will save a lot of time by not doing such work and use the time of use (we use the time) to do such work which gives 80% results.
