Operating Systems That WhatsApp Stops Support
With about 1.5 billion users worldwide, WhatsApp is becoming unusable on devices with some operating systems over time with frequent updates. Updated the minimum system requirements that the instant messaging program can be used without any problems, according to the new statement from WhatsApp.
With the latest update, users need to have devices with the following operating systems installed to use WhatsApp.
Android 4.0 over
iOS 7 and above
Windows Phone 8.1 and above
Nokia S40 devices
WhatsApp will support devices with the above operating systems until December 31, 2018. As of January 1, 2019, WhatsApp will not work on devices with these operating systems.
