'Art Or Weapons?'

crta.png

In the old days' weapons were made to look as if art pieces. Well, looking back they were art pieces. Not all weapons, of course. Only the ones used by the nobles. Like the ones here.

The handles were especially neatly made. The level of detail is extraordinary both in pistols and in sabres.

I am not a fan of weapons but looking at this, I wouldn't mind feeling these in my hand.

It is a matter of perspective don't see these as means of killing but as art pieces, someone took tome to make with a lot of effort. If looked at from that point of view, they represent the art.

Then again, weapons are weapons. Maybe I should admit that all the selfless work was misplaced. In the end, the only real use of these art pieces was to kill. We might look at them as art but cannot run from the truth.

Enjoy your day! :-)

Whenever i see art like this, i can't resist my self to say Art at it's best
Well, these weapons are the combinations of art and weapons, People in the past were using these weapons for two purposes, first as a protector tool and second an art piece, Especially these art pieces were hanged on the walls, and to be very honest They create a very stunning and beautiful view. Though these are the weapons but also telling the greatness of their maker.

I am not a fan of weapons but looking at this, I wouldn't mind feeling these in my hand.

I am also not a fan of weapons but the beautiful art is making me love them.

really very excellent art of weapons.i am not expressd your quality.your work always perfect and original.i am alltime support your work and obviously appreciating.i am just excited to see your weapons art.its very different types art. this weapons looks old but attractive.old is always gold. every art that is on the weapon shows the level of greatness of the weapon itself. Or it could also show the greatness of someone who owns the weapon.thanks to sharing for your great post of art.very welk done.take care yourself and best of luck of your great work.may god bless you.my dear friend.. @velimir

Lovely picture of weapons. Pretty old but ery famous and rare now. I agree with your views , in the past time weapons were made to look more like art pieces rather than some dreadful tools. Except for some like those for the soldiers. Apart from guns if you see the past history you may see swords and spears and bows made as art pieces. They were very beautiful. Thanks for sharing @velimir.

That Sword's Hook is amazing and your are also amazing!
show your face to us for one time :)

Old things contain a lot of art work. I visited many museums in the UK from last two years and I am really amazed to see the old things either weapons, clothes or even utensils were decorated with hand embroidery.

Weapons then we're mostly made of real golds.
Thanks for the exposure

Plzzzzzzz... Upvote me and I upvote you

There is definitely an Art involved in making weapons, both in functionality and cosmetic detail.
