All we need in our lives is a purpose.

If you lack a central purpose that can anchor your life, you will be tossed around in whichever direction the wind blows.

Nothing in this world is more fragile than the attention of someone who lacks a definite aim. Such a person is helpless before stimuli, which draw and keep his attention.
