A guide to help you reach your life goals
Know Your Goal
Before we set sail we need to know our way. It isn't mandatory to know if the wind is blowing your way or not, the main thing to know is your destination, with the right amount of determination we can reach any place we want to go to.
If we lose sight of our end destination we risk getting sidetracked from the road we are walking. This doesn't really mean we will get lost, it just means we will most likely take more time to reach the end result..
Time
Time can be your ally or your worst enemy, it all depends on your perception, it can move to your flow or you can let it move you, in both cases the end result will be the same, it all depends how fast you are willing to go, which is derived from the amount of effort you place in your deeds.
Also it is always good to stay in the present moment and use the past and future as tools to shape your way.
Mistakes
There is no such thing as mistakes, they simply don't exist. There is only experience which refines us and makes us stronger and more adaptive. Nothing can be gained without putting some effort, bad outcomes are there to show you and guide you towards things that you aren't doing right. Sooner or later one can become a perfectionist once he starts using his mistakes as lessons to grow from.
Don't ever let yourself down, not even in the worst case scenario. That way you are admitting defeat.
Find Others
Traveling alone is always demoralizing.. I personally think life is meant to be an experience shared with the ones who can appreciate it's gifts. Walking alone is hard but not impossible, yet finding someone on the same journey makes everything change. You will always have somebody to push you when you get tired. Also time starts to lose its grip when one doesn't walk alone.
Embodiment
Changing your attitude as if you have reached your goal changes everything. It is like being an actor, this doesn't only allow you to reach your end result faster, but it also allows you to gain experience before you even come close to your destination. The way you see yourself in the mirror is the way people will perceive you. If you are going to make your own movie you better be ready to take the lead role as it was made for you by you.
Never Look Back
Life sometimes presents us with some really thought times which may make us freeze up for a lot of time. Sometimes it's hard to move on but we don't really have any other options. Sitting in one spot will only lead us to our despair. We are presented with road blocks to learn and grow from them, never see anything as a end case scenario.
Good bro @vangelov
Good piece. I would say that the most important thing in making the most out of life is capacity to change and adapt. Experiences tell us what parts of our behaviour to change and the presence of others helps us do exactly that. My question is, if the greatest barrier to change is oneself, then how can one adapt?
Time is a teacher and we were born to be adaptive to everything. The only thing we can't adapt to is death
