I don't think so... well maybe if you're a whale or a shamarchist you get all kinds of perks and support by the steemit staff, but average people don't make anything beyond the first day it seems (in my experience), and that's if they make anything at all.
The first payout is 24 hours after the post is made. If you get more upvotes afterwards, the 2nd payout is 4 weeks later.
