Don't put all your eggs in one basket - job & opportunity

It is with great concern and pain that i pen this down. I had an encounter with a distant aunt today and i realized the more that one can be 'once rich but now poor'.

Talking about my aunt, I grew up to see her live a flamboyant life, with children she hardly spent her time with. Though divorced, she could financially take care of her needs. But after retiring with no investment, her life has become a living hell.

Today a friend invited me for a business seminar she could hardly give details of. The place was crowded with youths who were told it was an interview. Feeling disappointed from the entrance, I made enquiry of what was really going on in the different group discussions. No definite reply was given but theories of business.

Have you ever wondered why most of our parents spend more than they make, seem to live fine, but end up being broke?.

Why does it seem life has to follow a particular circle?, you must not depend on one source of income (which most times is the government) to succeed.

Diversifying is what a business person does, then sticking to the ones that pay is what a successful business person does.

Putting all your investments in one form of business is one successful step to failure.
Like @dobartim always says "believe in yourself".
Once you have that confidence that you can make it, you won't be scared if trying other business opportunities.

Don't choose the job, choose the opportunity

A job determines the state if your life, it restricts you from your potentials. You end up living someone's idea and burying yours. You give up your self to be exploited wrongly and uses to develop someone's ideas.

An opportunity gives you all you need to be who you truly are meant to be. It enlarges you all round and grows you intellectually. An opportunity if well managed and utilized sprouts the hidden potentials in an individual.
There's no limit to who you are meant to be once you utilize an opportunity.
