True.
Most of those "donate for Africa" charities are a scam. Many African countries are developed with houses, companies, towers etc yet the media is always showing some poor malnourished kid in the middle of a desert with flies on his eyeballs to deceive the western world and make millions in donations.
Even the ones who do send the money end up feeding the corrupt people in charge of the disbursement here.
If Africa got to utilize even 10% of those donations, power outage and malaria deaths would be a thing of the past.
donations are important to the middle "men " to siphon off part of a percentage as the money flows along to the end recipients . . .
those poor people in down town haiti, hurricane katrina and Puerto Rico . . .
those in power have perverted democracy for greed ...
