You're Never Too Old to Be Young!
We all have something in common: we were once kids and we frequently yearn to be kids again!
Although we cannot be kids again literally, we can still be childlike and fun!
"You're never too old to become younger." -Mae West
Even though our bodies age, our minds and attitudes don't have to!
No matter how old you are, you can still be young and silly!
I fully intend on being a young and silly forever!
"To keep the heart unwrinkled, to be hopeful, kindly, cheerful, reverent -- that is to triumph over old age." -Thomas Bailey Aldrich
I confess to being a big kid. I often deny my own age because I don't want to grow up! I want to say childlike forever, and I intend to!
"I am an old man, but in many senses a very young man. And this is what I want to be, young, young all my life." -Pablo Casals
Life is too short to be taken too seriously, and to be old!
What a lovely way to start this new week!thanks for this beautiful write-up. Yes, am not too old to fulfil my dreams or start pursuing my goals. life is beautiful. I want to be forever young. Live, love, laugh and learn.
Exactly! All those lovely "L" words! 😁
Yes! My husband and I were just laughing as we were looking at picture from only a few years ago at just how much our most recent adventure (crossing state lines with 3 kids and one on the way, living in a 33 ft travel trailer for 18 months while building a house & homestead) has aged us! We both feel young and silly and definitely child-like, but our faces are telling a different tale. While chasing my kiddos may tire me out some days, it certainly energizes me and helps me to focus on living each day to the fullest!
Oh, you're so young! And silly! And I agree with you -- keeping up with the littles helps us to focus on each moment! :D
Lovely write up. Its just the way you think. You may talk old even if you are just in your twenties. Many people have so much exposure at such young age that they tend to see life from different or probably broader perspective. And some live their life to fullest even if they are eighty years old. So its how you think and take life accordingly.
Yes, I agree with you! It's all about perspective. :)
