Get busy living!
I woke up today thinking about Stephen King's quote from The Shawshank Redemption, "Get busy living or get busy dying."
My parents have quoted this movie my entire life, so even though I have only seen the movie once (I really need to watch it again), I am very familiar with the quote. I admire how direct, yet simple it is. Live or die. It's really that easy. We're all heading in the same direction, we can dwell on it and die while we're still alive, or we can live while we're alive!
I also started thinking about the quote from Tuck Everlasting, "Don't be afraid of death; be afraid of the unlived life. You don't have to live forever, you just have to live. " I have carried this quote with me since I first saw the movie (I was like 11 or 12 years old) because it resonated with me. You just have to live. I don't want to spoil the plot, but the lead character basically has to chose if she wants to live forever and she receives wisdom from Tuck, who tells her that she doesn't have to live forever, she just has to live.

We are living in an amazing moment. You're expressing your thought and earning real 'money' for it. My guess is that you were wearing fuzzy pj's while writing this. You weren't at some dumb ass J O B reporting to some dumb ass boss over TPS reports. You can be a mother to your babies, express yourself, and live, I call this 'Renaissance.'

Yes, it is a renaissance, a rebirth, a reawakening! Lol, everytime I hear the word, "renaissance," I hear Judy Dench's narration on Spaceship Earth. :)

Shawshank is on of my favorite movies. Made for rainy Sunday afternoons lol Such an awesome story, I miss movies like that, Scent of a Woman, Rain Man etc...
