The Highland Park Bowl
Nobody told me there was a steampunk bowling alley near where I used to live in Highland Park. I swear Los Angeles keeps surprising me.
The other day I received a group text about a friends birthday party at the "Highland Park Bowl" I assumed it would just be your average bowling alley, but it doesn't even look like one from the street. It is hard to pick out from the nearbye establishments; happening little area.
It is also a restaurant and bar, as you can see when you enter.
Evocative of another era; I spent the first fifteen minutes staring at the decor while we waited for our lane.
We had a lot of fun; good food and drinks, friendly service, and an interesting steampunk atmosphere. I only had two drinks but got very affected; I am afraid my attempts to socialize may have put people off. Lovely party though; we had delicious cake and sang happy birthday.
Real hip crowd; methinks Highland Park is another secret la people keep to keep uncool people out.
Is it just me or are Steampunk chicks really hot???
Steampunk fashion interests me, no one dressed up at the bowling alley though.
Oh well... I've got a collection of hot Steampunk chicks on Pinterest!

This place looks pretty amazing! Gotta work on those picture though. Pretty blurry.
Yeah, I was hoping to tag this with "photography" but the photos came out too blurry to earn the. privilege. They looked ok on my tiny phone after a few beers,...lol!
Hahaha happens to the best of us!
