Are you a girl or a boy? Something in between. Like a combination of the two, but with one portion obviously greater.
Back to the question,
Who cares? Does it even matter?
I’m a person.
"Are you a girl or a boy?"
This is the first question lots of people have asked me. In my mind, I'm always like "Oh no. Not again. What does it matter?"
The question often makes me feel uncomfortable, I don't want to say "I'm a girl" even typing that just made me feel uncomfortable, should I just edit it out? Okay, I'm getting over it already, I'm almost forgetting how it sounded, okay, I'm over it now. And yes, I can't say "I'm a boy" either.
Also termed non-binary, Genderqueer is a catch-all category for gender identities that are not exclusively masculine or feminine—identities which are outside the gender binary and cisnormativity. Genderqueer people may express a combination of masculinity and femininity, or neither, in their gender expression. — Wikipedia
Genderqueer describes someone who identifies with both genders, no gender, or a combination of the stereotypical male and female characteristics. — yourdictionary.comI really don't understand why my gender should be important, anyway, there you have it. I'm genderqueer.
Some people would still ask me "Why do you like dressing like a boy?"
Because I like it. I'm comfortable dressing that way, I prefer dressing that way, I'm happy dressing that way; isn't it obvious? There are some questions I believe people should be able to answer themselves by just observing me. This, in fact, is one of them.
I don't know how to conclude this post, I'll just leave it as it is.
Anyway, always remember that above all else, love yourself genuinely, be happy, and respect what makes other people happy.
