I see it as a trade off. If they stay where they are, some of them will be radicalized. I'd rather take them in, keep tabs on them and try to keep them peaceful. The number of actual terrorists sneaking into countries this way is pretty damn slim, and statistically irrelevant if you measure terrorism deaths against the general murder rate of a country.
I think it is more prejudicial than beneficial to Europe, but at the same time it is inevitable. It is the new reality that no one can pretend not to see.
