You are absolutely correct. The folks that linkspam your post are worse than pond scum... I tend to warn them off once, then if they continue I flag and mute them. Sometimes I report them to @steamcleaners if needs be. The best kind of advertising you can do is to just do a great job and word of mouth will do the rest.
