The Switch is interesting and I think it is a great combination portable/console but they seriously need to do something about that price. $300 is not that bad but it is quite a bit of money, especially considering 'retail' on the base is $90 alone.

Is the base required for anything other than simply playing on a television? I would much rather there be a cheaper, portable, only model available if that base is only required to play on a TV. Hell, if they did that, I would probably own two or more by now.
