Did I just see my boyfriends sister cuddling a dead rat?!
So, in general I live in circus town aka my boyfriends parents house, no lie. I've lived her for a full year now. What i have learned while living here is; to expect the unexpected.
My boyfriend has two sisters, one of which i would say could potentially grow to be a serial killer. Her name is Carrie. Carrie is 21 years old and has raised rats for the last 7 years. Naturally when i found out about this i was disgusted, but learned to understand they were her pets. As time went on weirder things started to come to my attention.
Carrie would let her rats eat her food from her mouth...let them crawl all over the family room couch...i would sometimes find droppings by our fireplace.
One day my boyfriend and i had some friends over and she got drunk and started telling us that she had a jar of rat testicles in her room. To my own disbelief she went and got them to show us all. Not only was i disgusted, but humiliated. The more she opened up, the more i found out about this crazy rat fetish.
Carrie lost one of her rats to a tumor or something and she started to talk about how she had opened the rat up to find it after he had passed. I started questioning her about it and she nonchalantly told me that she keeps all of her rats after they die. She does necropsies on them and jars them up to keep them.
Carrie had me come to her room and i shit you not there was at least 5 dead rats in jars of liquid...
At that point i panicked, but to this point i have found it somewhat of a normal thing she does.
Up until yesterday...she hit a whole new crazy in my book!
One of her rats died and she had put it in the freezer we put our food in! Gross!!! Then later that day i went upstairs and i saw her on the couch cuddling and kissing her deceased rat. She was asking her friend if he wanted to hold it and cuddle it too. I was so shocked i turned around and went back to my room.
I don't think i could google enough to know that once a living thing dies it starts growing diseases and bacteria that is NOT healthy for anyone in the
household.
I am legit freaked out!!!
Come to find out she did the necropsy last night on that rat while drunk and just so happened to leave the organs of it on the mantle...i think i might puke! Thank god i wasn't the one to find them...
I'm still wondering what is still in the freezer in the same fabric pouch she had her rat in a couple days ago...i cant look!!
Aren't you glad you don't live next door to her!? Hahhaha!! This post was so funny.
Well, that was unexpected, thanks! :)
what the actual f..
Right?...I think their are institutions for that kind of behavior.
