I Survived Last Week - 2nd Week Back At Work

Hi Everyone,

If you have been following my blog last week, I’m back at work from an extended maternity leave break. I survived and I am pretty proud of myself to get myself back to work, attempt to still look good going into the office, pick up the kids from day care on the days when I’m in the office and all the other stuff done that I used to do at home. Lots of planning involved and make sure that my timing is right every step so I am able to tick off everything off the list. It is surely a challenge and I did it last week!

Week two and I’m back at it. Work has been a bit more interesting this week by picking up my new phone (woohoo). I’ve got the iPhone X so I ordered the iPhone 8 for work as I thought I don’t need a huge phone for emails and calls because I can use my private phone for all the other stuff. So after picking up the phone from the mailroom, it took over an hour to get it all set up with the emails and folders set up the phone. Not bad for someone who isn’t too tech savvy. After work, I got a screen protector and case from Daiso because I am pretty clumsy when it comes to mobile phones. So that's another thing ticked off the list.

Finally, I had my first conference call after 4+ years away from the workforce. It was tough but I managed to go through it and just needed a cup of tea after making sure I can survive the rest of the day.
