It is the condition of calmness and the ability that helps you to stay away from emotional agitated by peoples and their own thoughts. Sometimes it does not only help you to conserve your stability also helps you not take things too personally. That is not a state of unconcern and doesn't mean lack of interest and lack of feeling. Those people who are unconcern and don't care about anything are usually passive. Real detachment is something else. A real or true detachment is an attitude of open-mindedness, common sense, and critical behavior.

Those people who posses detachment they admit everything very calmly whether it is good or bad they accept it equally. Their minds are always balanced with peace. If they are unhappy sometimes that's also won't disturb their inner peace. They can ignore distractions easily and can do their work quickly from all of their heart.

If you used emotional detachment in the right way, then it is an important skill, and it will help you to become stressfree and gives you inner peace. Emotional detachment is such a positive and useful skill that will help you to let go the past, your worries, fears, and all the negative thoughts that come to your mind and disturb your inner peace. Emotional detachment means letting go the everything that disturbs your mind and hurt your feelings. Emotional detachment helps you to put boundaries between you and unpleasant and difficulties. Emotional Detachment helps you to be more efficient and more practical in your daily life.

What exactly meaning of emotional detachment is forget what hurt you but never forget what it taught you and there is a huge difference between giving up and letting go. Sometimes negative thoughts and emotions control your mind and make you unhappy that the time you need to know about emotional detachment. you should try meditation.

I do some hot yoga classes and I find they can be quite meditative if the instructor is good

What I gather from your post : Emotional detachment makes me lighter because I let go of worries and pain. It also makes me stronger because I'm unattached to hurtful feelings and regret rather I pick myself up and move on in progress . lastly I never underestimate the power of meditation. Lesson learnt

ohhhh! completamente cierto, excelentes beneficios los que nos compartes con tu post, particularmente hasta hace poco era una persona muy involucrada en todo (todos los problemas y situaciones de estres me las tomaba para mi), y esto no es bueno... hay situaciones que generan mucho malestar y estres, emocionalmente te sientes agotado! hay que saber separar ciertas cosas que terminan haciendote daño... gracias por compartir tan interesante informacion...

Actually I never thought of this topic before but now that you mention it I always feel jealous on people that don't stress themselves to much, that don't overthink issues or just seem like nothing could ever upset them.
