Can money really buy happiness? It is something that people ask themselves many times. Even I have asked myself this many times. I hear many times that people go shopping whenever they are feeling low. Shopping is something that can give you a lot of happiness but what about them who think shopping is just wastage of money? What do those kinds of people do whenever they feel sad? Shopping is a way to divert your mind, but I don't think it can really buy happiness.
These days I have noticed a thing among all the people. Everyone is running after money, like, they can't see anything else except money. Everyone is just shouting "I want money" "I want more money”. Can I ask you something, guys? Have you ever thought how many things are there in this world which can give you happiness without spending money?
I heard a song named ''Money (That's What I Want)'' which was released in 1959 and written by Barrett Strong
''The best things in life are free,
But you can give them to the birds and bees;
I want money, That's what I want,
That's what I want.''
It's a perfect song with perfect lyrics on our today's life.
Human behaviour can be very difficult to understand because there are so many people on this planet with all of them having their own ways of thinking. Therefore things like human emotions are an interesting topic for psychologists to explore. Even they are changing the way they approach human behaviour by expanding their study to things like fulfilment, happiness, self-satisfaction and not just mental illness. We all know that emotions play an important role in a person's life and they really affect our actions, and it is nice to see these things explored professionally.
You Want To Know What I Think?
Happiness is an ultimate currency that no money can buy and I truly believe in this. Many studies prove that happy people can enjoy their lives more and have more fun even if they don’t necessarily have money. Happiness is something that boosts your immune system automatically. Whenever we think about happiness, we need to concentrate on two important things that are related to our daily life. First is our life's satisfaction levels and another is our changing moods.
My life has been very satisfactory till now, but still, there were many moments when I was not happy and satisfied. It happens to all of us. It is true for the opposite as well. Many people are not happy with their present situation, but still, many little things can give them priceless happiness too!
Now, let’s talk about the role of money into all of this. If we think money can buy happiness, then one question always comes up. Well, how much money do we need for true happiness? As you may know, there is no definite answer. What is a big sum to me might be loose change to someone else and there is no perfect answer.
Plus, there are countless things that you simply cannot put a price tag on. Love for example. No amount of money can buy you true love. In fact when two people truly love each other, they are simply happy in each other’s company and they don’t even need money for that. Friendship is another such a thing.
Another really important perspective is that no matter how much money you have, you can never buy peace of mind. We all tend to think that if we have a billion dollars, we will never have to earn another penny and we will always have peace of mind. But you know what? Rich people are some of the most stressed out people in the world. It only looks cool from the outside.
So, no, I don’t think money can buy happiness. Not the really important things in life at least. What do you think? Do share your views with me.

Can money really buy happiness? No
Money can buy you comfort but not happiness. Some feel comfort as happiness but I tend to differ it. Real happiness is enjoying your lovely time with your loved ones.
I think you are close to the truth .. true happiness is a moment in time .. happiness or otherwise , doesn't last forever ., everything fades...

While money is not a synonym of happiness, it is a big contributor. You talk about rich people being stressed, but those are mostly entrepreneurs or workaholics (and they are pretty much happy by doing their jobs). If you browse the internet you can find a ton of examples of people that achieved financial freedom, quit their jobs, and made with their lives whatever they wanted. Because, for some time, yes, they almost only cared about earning money fast. I think the trick is to set your goals and expectations and live with them!
With money we can just stisfy our needs but can't bring real happiness in life. Thanks for wonderful words.
