THE LOVE FOR QUICK MONEY: WHY MANY ARE STILL POOR
A lot of people are still poor today not because they are lazy or they aren't productive but because the love for quick money has eaten deep into them. They want to invest today and start reaping a minute after.
When you try to give them business idea, the first question they will ask is "when will I get my money back?'. They will never buy the idea because anything that can't give them immediate gains doesn't make sense to them.
I have observed that those who are so desperate for financial help are always impatient to get out of their current situation which in turn keeps them stagnant. Those who are desperate to make quick money have something in common which is "impatience"
The rich tends to invest their money for future assessment hoping to make good returns. They could be patient for year or more, but the poor doesn't have a long time patience. Even if they do, it's only for a short time.
This is one of the reasons why the rich will continue to get richer while the poor gets poorer. One significant thing about the rich is that they have more income than expenditure whereas the poor has more expenditure than income.
Let's take steemit for example, a lot of people joined steemit with ill-conceived mentality that it's a quick rich scheme but when steemit proves otherwise to them, their interest fizzle-out and they carry their bags packing.
Tell them about long term investment, they will never take you serious but introduce them to ponzi scheme which promises to double their investment capital in 24 hours they will gladly accept.
Whether it's your dream to build houses or buy cars, get rich or get anywhere, impatience will get you nowhere. The earlier you embrace the truth the better for you. There's no going to be an overnight solution for money problems. Although you could be lucky but the chances are very low.
Changing your way of thinking and be less concerned about immediate gains will improve your situation no matter what it is.
