Earlier this week I was fed up with life because everything seems not to be going right as planned. Things were going wrong as I claimed. So I begin to wonder what truly is wrong. Then it popped to me that I am responsible for things going wrong. So I begin to questioned if things were truly going wrong or it was me that was going wrong. Then I heard this quote from someone “You are responsible for everything in your life” which is true. I also queried my definition of wrong and right.

Everything things on earth have two sides even to the earth itself. The sun does not set and rise at the same at the two sides of the earth. Life naturally is also made up of two sides: the right sides which have been given several names like good and useful or wrong which have been called dangerous and useless by many. Hence life can’t show you the two sides at a time. Life is not fair to everybody at the same time. It gives opportunities to a man a second and takes it away from him the next seconds. So I understood that not everyday things would go right in my life.

But what are this right and wrong?

There is the notion of as you mature you will be able to identify what is right and wrong. But is that truly correct?
Are right and wrong a function of maturity and age.

But before I explain right and wrong, read this which explains why understanding right and wrong is relevant to humans

From Wrong to Right

Understanding and defining what is wrong and right have played some roles in technology advancement and astounding innovations. No doubt many wastes are now being recycled into useful products for humanity. These wastes were once considered to be wrong by human and useless. But now are seen as a right and helpful to the same person through a process that fosters the transformation of these wrong into right.

Should we then say the humans who termed those things as wastes and wrong at first were wrong?

Likewise in life, certain things were considered as wrongs like challenges and disadvantages by some people yet as right by some that use it as stepping stone and ladder to greatness. What many see as suffering was the motivation of others. The wrongdoing of some employers by sacking there hardworking employees was the right that motivated some of them to become great men today.

Was the employer wrong and was the employee right

Certain children were termed as bastards and wrong and were probably tried to be aborted, yet they have grown to be great mens in the world now.

What then is right and wrong? Is there truly something like right and wrong?

But wait shouldn’t we ask who should define wrong and right.

Should it be humans, life or the things in life?

Human: The Definer

Life has not always been an easy journey and will always not be. What matters is not life itself, but those living life as this determines the condition of the life journey. Everything in this earth exists for the sake and betterment of humanity likewise the earth itself. These imply that every other thing in life relies and depends on the decisions of humankind. We control and rule the earth. Everything on earth got their name and functions and capacity to operate from humans. What matters most on earth are people not the things there because it influences all other things here on earth.

What is Right and Wrong: All A matter of Perception?

Our definition of wrong and right is all a matter of our perception of the goodness of the thing in question. The world culture, economy, and religion have all set up a standard of morality which men use as a measurement for right or wrong. These standards are all product of perception of the creators about that individual issue. What your culture and religion consider as wrong might be seen as a right based on another culture, religion, and economy. Also personally what you felt was wrong, another man might consider it as right. It’s all a matter of how you see those things.

The standard of living varies in several countries. The minimum wage also varies in countries which all boils down to the perception of the economists and people in the country on the lowest amount of money the inhabitants need to survive in that country. Some of these minimum wages are not even enough to take care of the people who can term it as a wrong minimum wage.

We have always been told that one plus one equals to two. But a teacher could ask a student one plus one in binary form, which is not two but ten. Should we then say the student is wrong to say the answer is two? No, it’s just a matter of perception and understanding.

Also, the transformation of those acclaimed wastes products into useful products by different researchers were the result of different definition and understanding of these things. They see those things as right hence boosting their creative mind to create useful innovations out of those things. It was a matter of their perception

You will agree with me things don’t go wrong, but it’s human who goes wrong. We go wrong in our form of false perception of a thing.

Whatever you see in a situation is what it is because you are the definer.

Life is comfortable and right if you see it as right. If you see anything as wrong, it will show you the wrong side of it. It will also cloud your mentality of seeing at as a form of greatness and opportunities to you.

Things don’t go wrong; we go wrong.
