There is also a kind of fish, like the swordless. Their peculiarity lies in the fact that the constituent of their skeleton is the cartilage, and instead of the jaw in their mouth there is a suction organ, and also a tongue. To this species of fish belong lamprey, myxina.

The smallest in size and weight - skate short-eared electric, weighs about half a kilogram, and in length does not reach even a half dozen centimeters.
