Dear Steemians,

Already 43 years ago, on september 12, 1974 Haile Selassie I held his last public words as Emperor of Ethiopia. He was overthrown in a coup d'etat by a group called the Coordinating Committee of the Armed Forces, Police, and Territorial Army. A Soviet-backed military coup that brought his more than fifty-year reign to an end and it would also trigger a decade and a half long civil war throughout Ethiopia.

Neverteless his words are living today and i want to share this message from him to you:

As a music producer i had to be creative and gave it some background music. Listen it on dsound.audio

Born as Lij Tafari Makonnen in Ejersa Gora in 1892, his family boasted a lineage going back to King Solomon and family ties to Emperor Menelik II.

Thank you for reading and listening. Btw this is my first post(more music is coming soon), i hope it works and that you guys enjoy it.

Peace

Timothy Andreas
