On this New Year's day like none other in time
Her breath does carry the intentions of like minds

With forceful purpose this year begins
While millions focused on their changes within

Our hearts wide open and the mind subdued
We create the feelings of this world renewed

And after that is felt and held within
We exhale with force too add to the wind

Then blown across our mothers face
She smiles and sighs with amazing grace
