Looking at both sides and getting the full story

Wednesday's thought:

We often forget when confronted with issues and problems with our clients or friends that there are two sides to the story. There are many times we need to put ourselves into their shoes and listen to what is being said from their perspective. We may be enlightened. So, the rule is to stop, think about the perspective from our viewpoint and then switch over to theirs. We may end up treating the situation very differently.
