Taking a Break From Coffee For a While! Here is Some Related Artwork
Day 2 of no coffee.
I got an espresso machine a few years ago and learned how to pour a nice cup with a rich creamy top, and the frothed cream mixed at the end.
A latte, or something Italian sounding, I don't know what it was, but I liked it. Every day.
Espresso doesn't really have much caffeine in it, so I could drink 3 cups, or if it was a rainy day I might drink 5. Every day. Time for a break.
- This is day 2. No ill effects so far. Expected at least a little headache from caffeine withdrawals, but have been drinking LOTS of water for the last 48 hours.

Congrats, man. I was all geared up to go on a coffee break as of yesterday, and I caved in already. I've done it before, and I believe I can and will do it again... but if anything, I'm reminded of my having an actual addiction to coffee (despite it's adverse effects).
It was hard to quit until I just decided to quit for a short time; I keep telling myself that I can drink coffee, just not right now, and I repeat that all day as needed.
Try some chicory or replace a third of your coffee with it. It's from a flower that tastes somewhat like coffee but without the cafeïne. Good and healthy substitute. They drank it when coffee was scarce and expensive in the world wars.
I always wanted to try some chicory anyway- it just sounds good. Chicory.
you doing great there just keep up :D
Twas time to cut back!
Break from coffee...rough! I much prefer coffee breaks!
Anddd, we made it! We are in Lisbon, well our joint effort is!!

It's not bad! I do love my coffee though, I just needed a non-coffee moment.
For a sec I thought you'd gone to Lisbon! I see our work there, very cool to be displayed internationally eh!
That must be hard. I assume the fuzzy-cool drawing is your expected frazzle-unce once day two arrived, and it luckily didn't quite materialize to that level. Never drank coffee, but heard it is hard to quit with the headaches. I imagine the hydration works well to keep them down. Good on ya', and hope it goes to your desired fruition.
It's worked perfectly, and I treated myself to a little bit of coffee last night to celebrate my ease of beating it-- I can quit anytime I want!
Glad it was a success. A small celebration at the end, and now you know the stuff can come and go as you please.
Hi very hard decisions, no coffee for 2days.But I know you have a very strong determination, so you can do it. Please keep your good work up my friend. Wish you a very beautiful time ahead.
Thanks, it was not too difficult to quit, I mostly just needed to use it in moderation, instead of every day all day!
It is like a necessary evil, you can take it ones a day or twice a day. Thanks for replying, you forget me or what?
Oh I was away from the internet, playing piano at a wedding this weekend-- I don't forget my friends so easily!
Oh it's very nice to hear from you my friend. You are an artist, the melody of piano is heart touching. You are living in the heart of the people who are listening to you. Great job, wish you a happy time my friend.
