It has always been about faith. I trust in my Heavenly Father who always keeps His promises and does not change.
What can I do to please my Heavenly Father of my own accord? Nothing. However, to live my faith in Him, I obey His instructions, because that is how I show my Heavenly Father I love Him. They are His instructions for Life. Plus, why would I want to continue in any behavior, transgressing the will of my Heavenly Father, for which my Messiah offered His life?
Take the leap of faith to actually follow Him. He died and rose again to offer us Life, allowing us to return to a relationship with our Heavenly Father! Turn away from man’s ways. Choose His Way. Turn away from sin and death. Choose Life! Enjoy your God-given day of rest!
