I like to do mountain bike riding so I'm building one on my homestead.
Homesteading isn't all about work. The hole point of living on a homestead it to achieve a good level of freedom and to me freedom is having fun for FREE.

Hi I'm Graham and i'm building a Homestead on 40 acres of raw Australian land and starting a small farm using Permaculture and common sense to create a real future.
I will be going off grid while building the homestead but once there is a structure I will be connecting it to the main line. I don't believe the grid is an "enemy" like a lot of people, in fact i love it. The grid has given mankind the ability to be free from the shackles of the daily grind and merely existing and allowing us the chance to become far more than we ever could without it.
The real enemy as far as i can see is the system of control we live under not the tools and technology within it.

Nice - but Mountain bikes are banned in our house.. after hubby had the worst broken foot the specialist had ever seen. Didn't help he rode out.. had a beer with mates at the end and waited till the next day when I was at work to call me and say "I don't think it's only sprained after all......" 2 pins, 2 plates and 10 screws..... NOT a sprain lol! So keep safe on your mountain biking so you can keep churning out the vids for us.. I want to see this homestead :)

Cool. Nice job clearing that out. Yeah im looking to get a "Fat Boy" Fat Bike for the trails soon. I really like those. Nice you are doing this for the children to give them something you never had. Thats awesome!
