According to reports from many parts of the world ember months (mostly December) is when we have the unprecedented rates of :
Celebrations
Shopping
Accidents
Scam
Etc
But let us discuss only this four points above

CELEBRATIONS

From my experience so far from this side of the world (Nigerian) and so many other countries, ember months have more festive celebrations than other months. No matter the background or religion people from Nigeria and so many other countries have find it favorable to celebrate during ember months due to the condition the season present. People from distant parts of the world travels far and wide for one celebration or the other.

Those of you that receive a lot of invitations, it is not a must that you must be there in person, when we find it risky traveling to a distance to honor an invitation we can do well to send a gift or monetize it, people have found this convenient because there is no point spending so much on transport on getting to the venue we can’t afford a gift for the celebrants.

SHOPPING

Because of high festive activities of ember months this has lead to high rate of shopping as well. At this point you see people buying what they do not need only for showy display of once means of life, and after buying all these things by January they become broke and their financial status returns to zero.

I think we should learn our lesson only to buy things we need and look for the cheapest ways of shopping for quality products as a result saving some money to start up life in January. Do not finish your steem money buying unnecessary things don’t be among those that borrow money during January. lol.

ACCIDENTS

According to drivers, when someone is well conversant with a road you can drive freely even some of them can count how many pot holes and the exact points of the pot holes to their destination lol. You wouldn’t understand, that’s the kind or road we have here.

Most driver coming from a far distance who is not conversant with this kind of road might end up entering this pot holes with a higher speed as a result their vehicle will somersault.
If you are embarking on a long journey this period, kindly drive carefully, obey traffic rule, always look for road signs, reduce speed, “do not drink while driving and do not drive while drinking”.

SCAM

This is defined as a dishonest scheme or a fraud. Their mode of operation is obtaining by tricks, they present themselves as wolf in sheep like form and they have so many format of tricking people.

But for some greedy people who planned to display their means of life when they get to their various villages and town this season, on getting to August if they are not meeting up with their targets, the next thing is to look for the person they will dupe and I feel that is why it is rampart this period. Most people are victimized because of their act of greediness.
We should be on guide, in fact our eagle eyes mode should be activated so that we will not lose our hard earned SBD.
